ABOUT

ABOUT

Deanne is a certified practicing speech pathologist and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Deanne aims to maintain a high level of knowledge in the area of paediatric speech pathology. This involves meeting yearly professional development standards which are set by our professional association.  She is trained in numerous evidence based programs including Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk', Sounds-Write systematic phonics program, the Lidcombe Program for stuttering, and Story Champs for oral language development.

Deanne's aim is to provide a professional speech pathology service and her goal is to give children the opportunity to learn in a fun and encouraging environment. Family centred and evidence informed approaches are used, as these are important foundations for intervention. Deanne aims to help parents and carers develop skills to support their child's communication development. Therapy materials are gathered from Australia and overseas so that intervention can be tailored to each child's individual needs.
